Launched in 1984, the legendary Spanish ready-to-wear brand DESIGUAL came into being almost by accident.

Its creator is Thomas Meyer, a 20 year old Swiss man on holiday in Ibiza. He began to design, customise and hand-paint multicoloured T-shirts which he sold to holidaymakers.

The iconic brand DESIGUAL was born! Its success is phenomenal, it madly disrupts the codes and adopts the name DESIGUAL which means 'Not the samein Spanish.

Thomas Meyer mixes beatnik and hippy style, patchwork and recycled materials in her colourful collections of clothing and leather goods.

The green DESIGUAL MESSAGES maxi bag can be carried on the shoulder or in the hand thanks to its two comfortable handles. It is made of recycled synthetic polyester, robust and rigid.
